JAMES L. WELCH, C.I.C. , graduated from the University of Idaho with a bachelors degree in Business.  Coached football, basketball and taught at Buhl High School from 1975 to 1980.  He then entered the insurance business in 1980.  Jim holds the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor from the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors.  Jim is past president of the Idaho Golf Association, Buhl Rotary Club, Clear Lakes Country Club, Surplus Lines Association of Idaho and the Buhl Recreation Association.  He has been active in coaching Buhl youth football, basketball and baseball.  Jim has lived in Buhl since 1975 and he and his wife, Christine have 3 children.
